Hands-on growing workshops

You leave my workshops with your own grow bag and the skills to keep it going at home. Everything is hands-on: substrate preparation on recycled coffee grounds and straw, inoculation, and the fruiting conditions that make the difference between a shelf ornament and a harvest. I am a teacher by profession - PhD, fifteen years lecturing - and it shows in how the sessions run: everyone learning from each other as much as from me.

Oyster mushroom growing

Oysters are the honest place to start: vigorous, forgiving, and delicious. We grow them on waste - coffee grounds and straw that would otherwise be thrown away - which is why these workshops double as the most practical circular-economy lesson you can hold in your hands.

Weekday workshops during foraging season

Through the autumn I run midweek sessions - ideal for groups, community gardens and teams who want a weekday slot while the weekends belong to the foraging walks.

Private and group bookings

Workshops run at the Remakery in South London, in community gardens, or at your workplace. For a private group or a team, the organisations page covers formats and how a session is designed - or simply contact Adi.
