Corporate away days and sustainability workshops with a difference
Real woodland, real growing, real circular economy - designed by a teacher of fifteen years, not a slide deck.
Foraging away days in nature
An afternoon in ancient woodland does something to a team that no meeting room can. The corporate foraging away day is a four-hour expert-guided walk near London and Brighton - genuine skills, shared discovery, and a proper break from screens. Autumn only, booked six to eight weeks ahead.
Cultivation workshops at your office
Year-round, I bring the growing to you: a hands-on workshop at your office or venue where every person inoculates and takes home their own grow bag. It works as team building, as a lunch-and-learn, and as the rare session people still talk about a month later.
Circular economy and biodiversity sessions
My sustainability sessions are not theory. I grow gourmet mushrooms commercially on recycled coffee grounds and straw, so when we talk about circular economy, the evidence is on the table - literally. Formats for ESG engagement, CSR days, biodiversity programmes and inclusion sessions.
The nature in your own building
Workplace greening plans are written for plants and pollinators - and forget fungi, the kingdom that makes soil work. I advise on roof gardens, planting and grounds from the fungal side, and run sessions that bring your own building's nature to life for staff.
Grow kits as corporate gifts
A gift people actually use: mushroom grow kits, made on recycled materials by a South London non-profit. Gifting decisions happen in October; kits deliver in December.
How a session is designed
I design sessions as a community of practice rather than as training - everyone hands-on, learning from each other as much as from me. I am a teacher and researcher by background (PhD, 15+ years lecturing), which is precisely the question your sceptical colleague will ask: why is this person qualified to design a learning experience for our team? That is why.

Frequently asked questions
How far ahead should we book an away day?
Six to eight weeks is typical - and the autumn window is short. A September enquiry means an October or November booking; after that, the woods close for the year.
How big can the group be?
Away days run from 8 to 13 people - the size where everyone genuinely learns. Larger teams can split across dates, and office workshops scale differently; ask.
Is this wellbeing, ESG or team building?
Whichever your budget calls it. The day itself is real: skills, nature, and a team doing something absorbing together. It fits wellbeing programmes, ESG engagement, CSR and plain team days equally well.
Do you run indoor options in winter?
Yes - cultivation workshops at your office run year-round, and the circular-economy sessions work in any season.
Can you invoice us?
Yes. Enquire by email and Adi will sort the paperwork your finance team needs.
Give your team a day they will still talk about
Autumn away-day dates are limited - corporate bookings run six to eight weeks ahead.
